Forthcoming Inquiry Events in the Highlands and Islands

Next week the Inquiry will be in Tain, Thurso,Kirkwall and Lerwick to hear the perspectives and experiences of those in the Highlands and Islands. Read on for more detail of each event, including a downloadable PDF flyer.

On Monday 15th July, we are hosting consultation workshops in Tain, at Duthac Centre, Shandwick Street, Tain, IV19 1BQ.

12.30pm to 2.30pm – Consultation with representatives from the statutory and voluntary sectors, including health, education, local councils, support providers and housing associations. (Lunch provided).

3pm – 5pm – Members of the public are encouraged to drop in and contribute to discussions about their own use of digital technologies and the Internet.(Refreshments available)

5.30pm– 7.30pm: Local business and enterprise organisations are invited to come to discuss how digital technologies are currently used and any barriers they face.(Refreshments available).

On Tuesday 16th July, we are hosting consultation workshops in Thurso, in the Education Room at Caithness Horizons, The Old Town Hall, High St, Thuros, KW14 8AJ

12pm to 2pm – Local business and enterprise organisations are invited to come to discuss how digital technologies are currently used and any barriers they face.(Lunch provided)

2.30pm – 4.30pm – Consultation with representatives from the statutory and voluntary sectors, including health, education, local councils, support providers and housing associations. (Refreshments provided)

4.30pm – 5.30pm – Members of the public are encouraged to drop in and contribute to discussions about their own use of digital technologies and the Internet.(Refreshments available)

9.30am – 11am – Local business and enterprise organisations are invited to come to discuss how digital technologies are currently used and any barriers they face.(Breakfast provided)

11.30am-1pm – Consultation with representatives from the statutory and voluntary sectors, including health, education, local councils, support providers and housing associations. (Lunch provided).

2pm – 3.30pm – Members of the public are encouraged to drop in and contribute to discussions about their own use of digital technologies and the Internet.(Refreshments available)

2.30pm – 4.30pm – Members of the public are encouraged to drop in and contribute to discussions about their own use of digital technologies and the Internet.(Refreshments available)

The Royal Society of Edinburgh invites individuals and organisations from all sectors to give evidence as part of the Inquiry and to bring it to the attention of others for wider circulation.
