Friday 2nd August will see the Digital Participation Inquiry host a round table event examining the issues surrounding the use of digital technology and the internet as it relates to the specific needs of older people.
For this event we welcome representatives from organisations who work to meet the needs of older people and understand first hand the specific needs of the elderly. We also encourage those who work in areas of interest to older people (accessibility, health and social care, dementia) to join us and discuss how unique issues impact upon older people and their use of digital technology. The Inquiry is also keen to understand how the shift of services online will impact on older people and their access to support.
